I found this workflow over at Digital Photography School and thought I would share it. I have a workflow for sorting, tagging, etc, but am still looking for a good edit flow. I’ll give this one a shot and see how it goes.
Do you have a Lightroom workflow that works for you?
I just got my body fat measured again (caliper method). This is pretty consistent with my last one. Not too bad considering I didn’t work out for about 2 weeks.
Something that’s been on my mind lately is passion. Maybe it’s the slogan of one of my favorite breweries: “Follow your Folly. Ours is beer”. If you think about it though, it makes complete sense – when you are doing something you are passionate about, concepts like pain and frustration seemingly disappear. A passion is an activity from which you find continual joy; even thinking about it brings a twinge of excitement.
So lately I have been trying to figure out which activities I enjoy the most. I don’t think we normally sit down and think about our passions; we gravitate to them naturally through our choices in hobbies and other activities. Sometimes, though, it is a good idea to search out that list. Bring it forward into present thought and you may gain a clearer idea of the things and activities which energize you – and make the difficult seems less daunting.
If you repeat the exercise from time to time, you will likely discover some patterns. While individual passions or hobbies may vary over time, chances are there is a common theme. Some themes I’ve noticed in myself have been fitness, the outdoors, travel, and photography.
