2009 Burpee Challenge

Wow. It’s been over a month since I last posted. Ah well.

Burpee. Mention it around any CrossFitter and watch him curl into a ball and suck his thumb. So to kick off the new year, we at CrossFit Genesis have embarked on a 100-day burpee challenge. On day 1, we did 1 burpee (in addition to our normal workout). Day 2: 2 burpees, Day 3: 3, and so on. We can do our burpees at any point during the day, and split them up as much as necessary. If you miss a day, you have to make up the burpees for all the days you missed. Hence, it is in your best interest to keep up. By the time we’re done, we will have each completed 5,050 burpees!

Sounds interesting, I may give it a shot. It has been a while since I did burpees.

In fact, Nehal, I think the challenge was your idea wasn't it? What a horrible idea - just kidding. Can you believe it, I missed 4 days in a row (too busy and just forgot) so I had to re-buy in by completing 78 yesterday. It sure made today's 13 seem easy!
